BAPTOU vs auto-apply tools
Auto-apply tools are services that apply for you in bulk, sending as many applications as they can, as fast as they can. BAPTOU does the opposite: it prepares each application in the format of the organization's own form, writes a one-page letter for it, and you check everything before anything is sent.
| Auto-apply (volume) | BAPTOU | |
|---|---|---|
| Goal | As many applications as possible, as fast as possible. | Fewer applications, each one ready for its real form. |
| Who sends | The tool, in bulk, so you rarely read each application. | You, after reading it. BAPTOU never submits an application on its own. Coming soon, as an option: once you validate an application, BAPTOU fills in the form and sends it for you. |
| Form questions | Built for speed: the same profile and answers go out to many postings. | Answers to the questions this form asks, from your CV only, within its character limits (for example 487/500). |
| Letters | Speed leaves little room for a letter written for each organization. | A one-page letter for each organization, researched and in your own style, rewritten on request. |
| Offers | Quantity first. | Offers that fit your profile, with the reasons why. Postings that are closed or no longer online are removed, checked every day. |
| Deadlines | Applications go out as soon as possible. | Each offer's deadline, so you apply before it closes; for master's programmes, when applications open and close and how many recommendation letters each one needs. |
When an auto-apply tool can make sense
When you apply to many similar jobs where the application is only a CV upload and a few standard fields, sending more can be enough, and speed matters more than the detail of each application.
When BAPTOU makes more sense
Internships, alternances, first jobs and master's programmes, in France and in Europe, usually ask for more: questions specific to the organization, a cover letter, character limits, files such as transcripts, and deadlines that close early. A generic answer is easy to spot there; a precise one stands out. That is the work BAPTOU does for you: you only check, edit and send.
You stay in control
Every answer and every letter is yours to read and change. BAPTOU never clicks “submit”, and an email leaves your Gmail only after you click “Approve & send”. You can export your data or delete your account at any time.
Your first search is free: one full search on your CV, and you keep every offer it finds. No card.
